The Kommugudem Lscs was established in the Year 1956. The society is serving 13 villages. The society is arranging the following loans for different purposes.
1. For Purchase of Fertilizers, Pesticides etc,
2. Additional Crop Loans
3. Weaker section loans
4. Gold Loans
The society earned 31 lakhs profit for the year 2009-10. The society is in "A" Grade for the last 10 years. 13% Dividend was declared for the year 2009-10. The society is paying dues 100% to the Dist Co-Operative Central Bank every year in time. Recovery from member is up to 80%.
Society is having 89.61 Lakhs as share capital, 6.45 crores as Deposits, 8.04 Crores as DCCB loans 11.41 Crores as member loans. Non-credit business is 4.61 crores for the year 2009-10.
The society was computerized by Cooptions Technologies Ltd,.. There are separate computers for banking and Trading. In Non Credit business Fertilizer, Pesticides Cattle Feed, Chaff cutters, and its spare parts, Drip irrigation spare parts, Thaiwan sprayer spare parts, Single wheel Trolleys are available in the society. The society has 4 godowns in the area of operation of the society.
The society has taken dealership from “The Sardar Engineering Nagpur”, for Chaff cutters. In our state chaff cutters are available only two places one is Hyderabad and the others is our society. So many farmers from various districts approaches our society for chaff cutters. Similarly Single wheel Trolleys are brought from AMRTHA AGRO INDUSTRIES, Kerala. These trolleys are most useful for material transport. These trolleys (Barrows) are also available in our society.
The society is conducting member education Programmes and agricultural programmes like the cultivation of different crops during to existing season displays through the TV & DVD. The society has three lockers.
There is no weighbridge in the radiation of 15 kms of the society. So the society provided weighbridge facility to the farmers. It is useful to oilpalm, maize, paddy farmers.
Members’ cooperation is very important for the development of the society. The managing committee and the staff dedicated for the development of the society.
